Dharikshan Singh Teacher Training College

First and foremost, with great reverence to my esteemed parents, I would like to inform you that this guide will prove to be a blessing for students’ bright future in today’s modern era. India is a country of villages, and education plays the most vital role in making rural areas prosperous, happy, and developed. While Koilwar block of Bhojpur is world-renowned due to the Son River, it has been lagging behind in the field of education.

To fulfill the aspirations of my parents, I established the Dharikshan Singh Teachers Training College in Kulhadia in 2015, with the assistance of the revered Shri Ramji Tiwari. Under the new education policy of the government, D.El.Ed. courses were also introduced at this B.Ed. college, with the approval for 150 students to be enrolled in each faculty.

An idea came to my mind—why not establish a degree college in this region? For degree-level education, students have to travel 15 km to Ara, 14 km to Bihta, and even Sahar does not have a degree college nearby. In view of the bright future of students and the development of the region, I established a degree college in Kulhadia, named Dharikshan Shanti Meera Siddhnath Degree College. This college offers courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce, as described in this guide.

The college is equipped with all the necessary facilities, which is why, even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the academic operations of the B.Ed. college continued online with the support of teachers, ensuring no disruption for students. Our college is dedicated to providing students with all facilities, including a website, a well-furnished library, computer education, and clean drinking water.

Additionally, another institution named S.M. College of Higher Education is proposed for this region, where courses in B.Pharm and D.Pharm will be offered.

Teachers are the builders of the nation. With the support of the teachers, the college will continue to offer quality education and discipline, in line with the new education methods, for the holistic development of this region.
